Who in OZ (preferably in Sydney) can supply one of these:

It's a repair panel for the rear of the boot floor.

I have to get a valance too. I bought one years ago for JAM, from M S & R.

Well I have phoned most BIG suppliers in SYD, and none carry that boot floor repair section.

Any interstate suppliers carry this item?

If so, PM me pricing and availability please.

edit: here is a pic of another one...

Well
What was the price?
That must be a panel most of us will need at some time, along with the rear valance.
I know I have a clubbie that will benefit from these bits.

I agree totally!! Which is why I was shocked to see that hardly anyone carries this item!

Valance (beaver) panels are as common as dog sh!t, yet this one is difficult to track down. My GT is quite rusty in these places, as was my Clubby S. Normal for a Mini I say!

Anyway, it's not my place to quote a price from a supplier. If that supplier wishes to put a price publicly on here, they will.

hmm neither of my older minis (63, 66) has even a hint of rust in these areas. No i don't think a sample of 2 in either case is valid, but it does seem to go along with the theory that Leyland used crap metal in clubbies and did not paint them properly

2 of my roundies have rust in the boot area and its the worst of the rust spots. third one has just had it all replaced..4th is ok... and the clubby shell is imaculate not o spot of rust beyond slight surface stuff where its back to bare metal..
I think it is a pretty comon place to develop rust.. guess you just got lucky Mick!!~

so i am also interested in price

I bought one of those panels from minisport a couple of months ago from memory it was about 87 bucks for the panel and about 25 bucks to get it posted by TNT to Wollongong. The only problem i had was they where out of stock so i had to wait for the next shipment to come in, which i was told had 4 of the panels in it. The panel fitted well into my 65 deluxe and the new beaver, which i got from Karcraft for about 50 bucks, also fitted on over it fine. I also got a quote to have it shipped in from England which worked out around the 150 aus dolllar mark which i thought wasnt too bad.

Anyway hope that helps
