I ran my mini out of fuel again on Friday :x and lucky for me it stopped just around the corner from my house so i walked home and got the lawnmower fuel can. As i was fitting the nozzle i noticed that i happen to own a Paddy Hopkirk product. 8)

I've always liked the Explosafe fuel can because it seemed like a good idea to have a one that won't imbed shards of metal in you if a spark ignites the vapour. Until recently the name Paddy Hopkirk meant nothing to me.

Nice find...and the explosafe foam uses only about 1% of the volume of the tank even though it fills the whole container.

It's not foam in mine it's metal mesh as far as i can see. Perhaps the later models use foam or maybe the mesh is there to hold the foam in place. :?
