I got the Gumption and scrubbing brush out today and cleaned up one of the GT seats. Not bad for 34 year old seats!!
Only dilema I have got is the stitching came apart on both front seat bases, and even after cleaning them real well, they still don't look **NEW** ..... which is a bummer because the door cards and rear cards
WILL be new. I am thinking I should just retrim these seats anyway.....

Can't have something not new in a fully restored car
Beautiful seats mate. Love the colour and they came up a treat .... what did you use - just warm soapy water?? And what kind of brush? Nylon? That's the beauty of all vinyl interiors ... much easier and safer to clean than the dot pattern cloth on the later clubby's. I'm scared to clean mine as I might damage it.
If the stiching is the only problem with the GT seats (which seems to be the case) then I'd def be talking to your trimmer .... is that the BMC trimmer dude? Mate what a stroke of luck finding him!! And that black dot pattern ..... you must have been rapt!!
I had a look at your website and I love it. Great pics and descriptions of your resto. Are you happy with the Acryic finish? The interior looks aswome. Love the red piping.
Cheers,
BC.
