Opposite the water trap at the North Bannister stage is great. You have to get there really early to get a decent spot. The best spot is where you can see them get air with 3 big jumps down the hill then through the water splash. If you get there early get a place ON the ropes, coz its standing room only by the time the cars get there.

If you do get there early (before 7.30am) grab the big rock (bout 4' high directly in front of water splash) it fits 2 people at a squeeze, but its the best vantage spot. Take a cushion too, will get pretty hard after a couple of hours perched on top.

Grant,
Ring my brother Geoff here, or when you get over there- he's an official as usual. He's flying Thursday I think.
I'd like to go- maybe next year....

No the rally will move interstate likely to NSW, It's a bugger cos it was the only major sporting event in WA. Every dollar the state govt put in they got $8 back. I'd like to meet the sod who refused further funding in a dark alley on night

Nobody knows yet :?: But next year is the last time it will be in WA.The WA Govt tried to finish it this year, but due to legal commitments it has to be run here in 2006.One of the reason it will be in WA next year is because no other State in Australia showed any interest in staging the Event. The WA Govt has bagged the event so much that I doubt it will stay in Australia.Bloody shortminded dickheads
They don't give a crap about Motor Racing Events over here...
The WRC was actually making money in WA,yet they still canned it :x :x :x :x :x
The Govt over here is more interested in spending millions on poxy horse racing industry.
Gives you the SHITS..........
