Okay so i'm almost definite on the
Old English White with Black roof colour scheme.

Rover bootlid will be going on, minus the numberplate light.

And bonnet... i don't think i'll have any badge on the bonnet.
I like the clean look.
Yeah no badge on the boot lid either.

More stuff to add.

Rover front wiring loom
Rover steering rack
Rover steering column
Rover indicator stalk
Rover bottom crash pad
Rover switch panel
Rover wiper motor.

Yeah just a slight inkling of some rover bits in it

For the top dash rail, i'll get that done in black vinyl, as per the Cooper Esses. Or maybe i'll leave it body colour.
I'll see what tickles my fancy.

Hopefully i can get it to the paint shop on the weekend, or the following week.
I still have to get this bloody weber placement right for the box, so that means i have to sit and bolt the engine in, and weber, so i can work it out.
And stuwey has my weber..
And my motors are at brickworx - so is the engine lifter

There isnt enough hours in a day

Ted has said that it will be at the body shop for between two to four weeks, everything going good.
So thats nice. 8)

Hmm i first fell in love with OEW when i saw an Austin Cooper in miniworld. Red interior too which looks superb.

Are you going to vinyl cover the dash Cooper syle? I reckon that'd look great if you're keeping the dash 60s style and going for a retro theme.

As much as i hate to Cooper-ise a Deluxe... yep
I'll be putting a rover bottom crash pad in (with switches) - piss load easier for other things (cos i'm putting a rover stalk and stuff in it) - which will be black and i'll get the top rail trimmed with vinyl.
The rover bottom pads aren't nearly as bulky as the Leyland ones - they actually look quite nice! and will tie in nicely with the vinyled top rail i hope.

Should be all good.
And yeah, centre 3 gauge binnacle too.
Probably Mountney GT steering wheel - or leather Motolita if i can get my mitts on one.
Black carpet set with creme piping/ edges (9 -or11?- piece)
Cream hoodlining.
Rover seat set ( "Lowbacks" - standard seats with headrest removed  , they recline  ) trimmed in very dark grey velour or something along these lines.

Dunno yet.
But thats what i'd like to happen.

fiddle sticks its not going to be cheap either

Oh well, thats what i get for crashing my car :x
