As for mini's at the mill it sounds as if some people were slightly disapointed with the day. As for me I didn't attend due to unforseen curcumstances (hang over) 8) But I was wondering who were the winners and losers of the day.

Cheers.

i don't know what people are talking about... i enjoyed myself :P

the day is what you make it....if you want to have cry when it rains and put your car under shelter like a certain prettyboys-who-don't-drive-their-cars-coz-they're-too-nice *cough*pikup*cough* then you won't enjoy yourself...

way too much seriousness in minishow land...

if you've spent $20,000 on your car and it can't stand a little rain... maybe you should've rethought covering your car in cashmir.

PFffffffffft $20,000 - Trailer Queen

Come along to Wakefield Park next weekend there will be a number of board members there who have spent a lot more than $20K on their cars and they will be getting there nuts reved out around the circuit rain, hail or shine.

I agree 100%-Use your Mini and enjoy the experience. We drive to the east for events and to enjoy the company of like minded people.
Craig Williams drove his Cooper S to Perth last weekend and competed in the Australian Motorkana Championships, then drove back to SA after the last Event.
Thats what you call a good drive and commitment :D :D

well

i spent 1600 on my mini 8) when bought, and up until now have barely spent half a grand (had a brake job) on it, almost 2 years ago now,

i used to bash it up in the paddock
and this was my favourite ditch :!:
Image
it was a very deep divit :P
so much fun
however
im 99% sure after its engine and component rebuild, i shall not be racing it about in such a manner :P :!:
just because it would seem silly :!:
