Well, My dad and I went to bris vegas today for the QLD mini clud swap meet and it wasn't just a waste of time as first thought by my dad...... We got there around 8:30 9am and there were about 10 or so stalls set up and by the looks of it,,,,,,, we thought that was it, it was going to be a bit dull to say the least........ well the old saying goes don't judge a book by it's cover because once we got out of the car and saw what everyone had it was a bargain hunters/hagglers dream - I remember there being a set of cooper s steel rims and a set of ROH contessa's the steelies were 260 - bargain (a couple of them had differents offsets but they were still in good knick) and the contessa's were 350 also quite good any way the high light of the day was when we got a carby for the lil beast at home it was aparently rebuilt and it's piston inside was well working too........... other things bought on the day were
- Carby (HS4) - $20
- dash = $10
- three guage binicle = $35
- brake pedal rubber = $freebie
- interior light cover = $15
- van jack = $10
- overflow tank C/O Mad Matt Read = $2
- Rear louvre = $35
- and last but not least A SUNROOF = $35 (and that isn't just the sunroof it is the entire set up excluding the vacume switch - instructions EVERYTHING)

If any one can tell me roughley how much the sunroof should cost (because I know that it is worth more then what we paid for it)

Can you please tell me I think Chris might know.......

Great day had all round and the cheese on the cracker was when I got home and put the carby on it started and it revvfed higher then it had ever revved before I was like     :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:   :lol:

I scored some good 850 door locks and latches at a reasonable price.

Scored some seats of Convertable Mini for the best price possible, free. Can't beat that.

I think that most things were reasonably priced and that there was a wide range of parts too

My personal favourite was Danidad picking up a 'Morris Cooper' bonnett bdge and motioning towards the vendor..."Dare i ask how much?"

Carby was tickled up (running rich), took it out to the highway to test drive it, before, it was struggling to get up to 100k's, now....whoooooooo, she flys, ( The old Digger is one very happy bloke) next move is a Nissan dizzy to add "Spark"le to all that fuel getting into the cylinders. Just gotta find a Nissan dizzy, all the wreckers in town don't have one, might try Bundy.

3 Gauge instruments fitted up last night, looks cool!, anyone have a clue as to what wires I need to add to get that Tacho working? I'll post a pic shortly, there's a black wire attached to a spade, then there's this male terminal just sticking out, NFI what that's supposed to be attached to.

The destructions on the Sports roof doesn't include the hole size, Dad said it shouldn't be a problem, he's good at that sort of thing, and he said once the holes cut he can stand up inside and panel out that turret, he just hopes it doesn't rain for a week. ha!, been pouring this last week, so he's dreamin'.

good find with the sunroof!!!

In terms of value im not really sure... but def more than whjat you
paid for it definately!! I have only ever seen one uip for sale!!

Also things to think about when putting the roof on is that it is desighned
to have a metal reinforcement around the hole to providee strenght to the hole
of the roof and the hole is quite a wopper too!!

I know it isnt a great pic but this completely original 70/71S has exactly the same as my K mate.

Maybe you are thinking about English cars that had the flat tops.
