Are there any 12" rims I can use as a spare? I currently don't have one and I don't think I want to get another superlite as a spare.

You could hunt down an 1275LS rim, they are 12". I have heard that Morris 1100 rims fit but I've never clarified (don't know if they are the same offset).

Why not use a 10" rim as a spare? Even if you have monster disc brakes you can always put the 10 on the back and put the back on the front if you get a flat (that's what I have to do as my spare has a different tyre and can't go on the front).

Anto.

Another thing, at the mini show I noticed that a lot of the cars had a boot shelf, is there someone who supplys them or are they just made by auto trimmers?

Morris 1100 is a different stud pattern.

I think you'll find more 1275LS' in Australia than Hillman Imps, though (which is a shame coz Hillman Imps are cool  )

Other options:

HB Vauxhaul Viva or HB, LC, LJ Torana 4cyl (6cyl has 5 stud pattern).

OT: Yes, Imps are cool! 8)

My brother had 7 Imps at one count... he was a sick puppy! BTW, he was sales manager at the BMC dealer...

OK I admit it- I bought one once, for my wife...
But I sold it and got her a S/H Cooper S.

Somebody had a register of how many Imps were still in captivity in and around Sydney- I think it was 43, a year or 2 ago.

Oh faaaaarck... anyone got a pic?

It was a small car built in Scotland in the '60s to take over ze world, but the VW and Mini had already done it.

875cc, SOHC, around 42HP.. Drum brakes- they even raced on them- discs never were available...

Front suspension was a swing axle... just like rear of an early Beetle. POS handling, and I owned one..

It is the car we would be talking about if the mini had not been invented!
