That's right - it's running again **TOUCH WOOD**

Anyways, I was up till past midnight getting it ready as I had promised a couple of the neighbourhood boys a lift to their yr10 formal tonight. How's that? One of them lives around the corner and they had just seen it driving around Greystanes and knocked on the door and asked.

Well it was literally around the corner, and I got two cases of beer and motivation fo finish fixing the beast. They were stoked. Also, there was a fair few smiles and laughs when the Mini General pulled up and rang out the ol' Dixie Horns!!

Anywho, I will be taking it easy for a while and not racing to see if I can't get a couple of hassle free months out of her (C'mon, I know you're listening - that's not too much to ask is it?? :? )

No Slippery Diff anymore though

Might be able to rebuild the one that broke for not too much - that's on the back burner right now.

On the plus side, Geez the steering feels light without the Limo !!!! 8)

Had to put on a show a little further down the street - it was at a small reception venue and the driveway and whole street were PACKED. Ripped a 180 (Officer, it was just a U-turn!!), and drove into the place. The kids seemed happy.

It's a shame there were so many people packed inside - there is a nice little turning circle in their driveway that could have been some fun!!!!

Diclaimer- Enjoy your Mini responsibly.

WOOT WOOT

Sounds like you had fun Bob and good on ya :)...

Maybe you could start up your own Mini chauffeur business with the General.. Just get some flyers printed up with a nice picture of the General on them. Then get the lads you took to formal to stick them up at school for next years formal :)..

to do that sort of thing for payment you need to register yourself as a busness then get the vehicle licenced to do it .......
better of doing it for beer tokens
makka
