Looks pretty- plenty of bling-bling.. 8)

Lot of time left yet- anything could happen. Maybe will go for silly money.

No I dunno what a new one's worth... before you ask.

I'd mail him and ask for a real photo, this seems like a general one of any weber (he doesnt even mention trumpets in his listing).

Yeah make sure the pic is of the real one that is for sale and not a "demo model". I have seen a Weber 45 on a manifold that is way less bling bling than this one for $600.

If it is under $300 it's a relative bargain I'd say.

You'll need:
Manifold ~$160 for a redline one or similar (if you can find one!)
Air Filter ~$?? for something that fits without hacking firewall well we are talking Unobtainium...
Linkage kit ~$100?
Probably a rebuild kit $60
Misc number of jets and air correction jets ~$20 per jet (1 jet per side)
Tune up knowhow (This will cost money and/or beer)

That said, it is probably the ultimate carb to put in any car, esp ph@t 1300's

I know cause Doc's putting one in for me! 8)

EDIT: looks like it is going to go for silly money, already $200 and still lots of days to go...

Umm, I meant the guy on eBay selling the Weber - he claims he has RACE gaskets.

The point I'm making is a gasket is a gasket is a gasket. I have heard of competition head gaskets, but calling a carby gasket a RACE part sounds ricey. Like calling a 5" exhaust tip a race part!

He's probably talking about the soft `O-ring' mount between carb & manifold.

Hardly a race only part these days. Some people reckon they're essential.... 8)

My Dellorto gets by with a normal gasket, but if it was a Weber I'd fit one.

Ha ha I like 'racing gaskets'. Well I got two on my car, does that make it go faster? If so then that's the best $7 I ever spent!

I guess it's comparatively cheap- but they are harder to set up, and don't really go much (any?) better than a single 45 on a race manifold these days. 8)

Race manifold - are you referring to the 6 inch?? cos i am not interested in bulkhead mods...

Kinda makes me think - the split setup was off a cross flow head, so the manifold wont fit anyway..... i guess i'll stick with a single 45 (or just upgrade to crossflow aswell as split 45's)

Now HOW can i get this money stone to bleed???
