Nice job, and I like the technique for cutting a corner with a grinder.

Yeah, good point - I've shagged two pairs of glasses using an angle grinder without goggles on. Plus my brother (an eye surgeon) told me about all the eye injuries he deals with :(

:?:

Dad's wearing safety glasses. He did a brilliant job, of course he couldn't have done it without me.
btw, anyone know what that black knob thingie is on the wind deflector?. There's no holes going right through, just one in the "thingie".

$35.00 at the Brisbane Mini Club Swap, last weekend.
Need a vacuum switch if anyone has a spare.
Thanks again for putting up the pics, I appreciate it. Went for a drive, now I know what I've been missing.

i'm pretty sure it is there to hold the roof aerial on a S/Sunshine/LS in place.

I had an idea it might be something like that, but couldn't figure how it held anything, so is the aerial stuck in the roof and the black "thingie" is attached somehow to support it?.
We're going to add a roof aerial, so might do it Sunshine style..
Anyone got a pic of that they can share please.

Pat
