Honk, what possessed you to write this cursed thread?
Some one said their gearbox was making noises like straight cut gears, now my daily driver is at home with the same problem. Greig if you read this I will be calling about an engine "refresh". So for this weekend I have a choice of a complete 998 from my project car (a complete unknown quantity as I have never seen or heard it running) and an 1100 (without carby) which was running 4 years ago but I have to go and fetch that one.
And Aaron, I have been reduced to driving my daughter's Hyundai.
