You'll find that Most, if not all, WRXs remove the front driveshafts so they can actually drift.
Its pretty hard getting a four wheel drive into some proper sideways motion.

:? sure about that willy? I am not sure.. But i was under the impression that they just change the amount of drive between front and back...

Yes, out and out drift cars are RWD including the drift WRX, not sure what method is used though.. I have a video of a EVO drifting here and they do it well.

But we are not talking about a technical fully sic brother's drift, you can get anything loose with a bit of sideways action. We're talking about a bit of understeer..pushing hard, tires squeeling, lift off oversteer oppy lock action

The new WRX Sti's have a knob next to the gear stick

haha
silly sam
Get stuck into him

ant go around racing and stuff

i got pulled over in Penguin :? They have ONE part time cop there, i clipped the curb in mini, going 15 kays- not even, And i was pulled over :? .
He thought i was a drunk, i just said nuh, im always like that :) , and he said Okkher Bye.

But squealing tyres, i dont reckon that means to fast, i can squeak the tyres at 40 kays around a corner, but i can easily go around the corner safely at 80 kays, so i dont reckon thats a thing,
but thats irrelevant

SAM, slow down and take it easy
or im going to vbe ahving that Starlet mini in my garage when i move down South :D 8) :P

Where are those stories about magical 80kph corners and 100kph roundabouts coming from - show me who can take a city street corner at eighty, let alone take it safely? But everyone seems to claim to be ruling street corners like an Indian 7/11 cartel.

Never in cities for me at least :?
My comment, alone, was a silly comment, of you can make the wheels squeak by turning sharply, yet a specific corner wouldnt need to be turned that tight, so  Ignore that, i havent driven a car with any go at all, not even more than the mini in the last 4-6 weeks, ive got used to going so slow and only just making it up hills and hardly even going around corners,
Get in a slow car (even slower than a mini), and it will slow ya down for good

Well I didn't drop out of school for nothing!! lol

oh well yeah I probably wasn?t driving the best but as I was walking back to the station a VL drove past me and the cops and about a block away cooked it up was sick lol the cops didn't know what to do lol they were on foot lol

oh well as I have said I have settled down now!! allot

when I first got it I was mental ! ! I even now look back at my 2 months and think wow that was dumb!! lol

AWD yes some can drift and will had the point of taken out the front drive shafts this is true when the drifting was on down here the skylines take out the front drive shafts so they can get a good angle but with mums car its hard very hard to do !!! not even in my back yard gravel road can I do it

lol or it just might be me!! I wasn?t made for the drift !!! that?s y I usually drive front wheel drive cars lol I feel safer in them I understand them more!!

so yes get stuck in to me for my stupid escapades on the road

but remember this I HAVE LEARNT LOTZ AND LOTZ from being on the road by my self I have found my limitations and I am staying well away from them

Thank You

Sam.
