Anonymous moderation means the agro that is built up towards the mods isn't aimed at an individual (fewer "Makk" attacks). Less stress for mods means less moderator "retirements".

68Delux - I always have that problem with my hydro. But remember, it's a hydro! If you lift the car up yourself first, it doesn't settle as low to the ground and you can fit the jack under.

When I do an oil change, I jack the front of the car up then let it down, only then will my oil tray fit under the sump!


Try driving the LF wheel up onto a housebrick, pointing downhill. Gives you more sump clearance, and also it'll drain out better. 8)

for some reason the diamond jack from a 1980's ford falcon is so flat it gets under the Mini with no problems.

There is/was also a cheap 1000kg trolley jack at SuperCrap for $60 (or something close) that gets under there no problems.

GEEEEZ!!!! i was suggesting carrying a scissor jack in the car.... the trolley jack stays at home :wink:

unless of course you are me - my trolley jack has been in the boot for 3 weeks simply cos i couldnt be bothered getting it out.... gotta take 2 engines out of cars at a friends house but am waiting for a sunny weekend..... :roll:
