I think you will find the regular Polo is coming out of Shanghai, China now.
I'd take the one from Espanol. 8)

Now that Polo GTi is a new car I would consider seriously. I had a Golf GTI in the early 90's and I loved it. :)

BINI need not apply.

yeah Marcello, Josh and i saw that at the Syd motor show and yup is
a VERY nice car inside and out.. would have one anyday...but would
prefer the new golf GTi!

The engine in the Polo GTi is the engine out of the last model Golf GTi, so in theory you get are getting a three door brand new (but last model spec enginewise) Golf GTi. Sounds like a pretty bloody good idea to me. Spaceboy got it right, this is what the BINI should have been, and could have been if it wasn't a freakin' BMW.
