230km per tank is fine..

If i drive my commodore like i drive the mini i get about 17L/100km..only on the freeway is it far more fuel efficient.

My mini idles at 1700rpm, doesn't see below 3000rpm much and on the freeway sits above 4.5-5k rpm...I do alot of freeway trips in it as well. 10L/100km isn't that bad, especially when your not pottering around.

just make sure its tuned correctly and not too rich, has the correct needle for your application, is getting a good spark, is timed correctly, has got the correct volume fuel pump if electric, engine bay doesnt smell like petrol
doesn't have a weber, webers are wasteful with fuel.

also less of an impact, but wheel aligned and balanced so there isnt any extra drag, and brakes adjusted properly also so there isnt drag.

thats all i can think of 8)

i should also say, driven hard, with a full tank it only lasted 3x 15 minute sessions on the racetrack, plus the drive up there and some driving afterwards to the petrol station..
admittedly some spilt out the cap under cornering..

Well since my Odo works now i have finally figured out what my mileage is:

7.4L/100kms! Nicely done! She sees alot of unnecessary revs too :P I think I've done really well!

Vital specs: 1152, 12G295 ported head, 3in1 perry's, Dellorto DHLA45 with ported intake, mystery 266 cam.
