Scraping - get the bulk off as to not get the stripper too gluggy when removing the paint
The stripping - remove the last couple of layers, and to avoid scoring the metal with the scrapers.

Scrapers used were just bog files.
With a slight radius on the ends and obviously a sharp edge.
