Check the bonnet on the car....it's flappen in the breeze like it is made out of tissue paper :!:

I wonder what these cars weigh in full race trim

The 998 must be entirely made of carbon fibre with a no subframe conversion of some sort for that sort of speed. And must scream at 9000 rpm to get it too!

Well I can proudly say I've been in a 115hp 1310 with 45 dellorto at 8000rpm and it sounds much the same! It goes like a scalded cat from 3000+ the floor vibrates like mad, your head gets kicked back in the original no headrest seats. Boy I want one!

115hp pffft, all i need is 90hp, that's all, is it too much to ask for?? it's only 90 piddly Horses!!

Lets not exagerate with the carbon fibre bodies etc these are not formula cars. CF wont do much good unreinforced anyway.

But 68 is right about the 45mm sidedrafts they do make anything sound like a race car. And that vaccum suction sound when you flor the throttle - its better than anything the big music labels or the major drug companies can produce.

Straight cut gears help make em sound racey aswell. I'd love a set of straight cut drop gears in my car, but I can't justify the expense! The noise they make will drown out the noise a weber makes :)
