swap it for spuds!

'We' have been out of spuds for 2 months now :(
bloody spuds  Ive had enough of them anyways,
Today i was on the back of the tater planter, You all know the plastic chairs you prolly sat on at school, well i was on one of those for over 6 hours today, bloody hell i has a sore backside from where it was bolted on to the machine  that was following 2 days of at least 4 hours there last week too, and another solid day tomorrow.
lucky for me, today, i specifically asked for a dust mask,

Id had enough of chewing on dirt, cement powder, normal fertiliser (god it hurts in even the tiniest nick on the skin, it will get in it and dry it out and open it up and sting like all buggery :x :( , potato juice, and finally ritimol (spelling, stuff to help prevent the Phytophthora rot in potatoes), apparently it is not healthy for you, but they dont care about me :( :!: :P .

Anyways, you slowly grow resistant to poisons and fertiliser and crap, so maybe its alright.

Again anyways
I was going to sort this out this arvo , But i worked late, and then my Corona really really really cheesecaked, so i havent been home so long, so ill organise tomorrow,
Ive asked one guy (the guy who helped me with towing corona) if he can investigate building the donk for me, He has an old fella (a bloke who has had a lot to do with minis) who he will ask tomorrow,

There wasnt really a chance of me building it,
surely my mechanics on 25 bucks an hour can build it for me, which will still make it a cheap build.
The head hasnt been decked

Id never lose faith in the minis,
i tried to give it up about 4 months ago, where i could have got $1,500 for it

And look where it got me

potentially ive got NOTHING

Thanks mini 8)
i really want it back :(
So i can do some fully smoky burnouts and skids :!:

all these parts were taken to Mechanic man

I rang him just today
and he had a look a few valve guides were need new.

The gearbox i got from the guy i got my motor from is a different type to my original one and wont fit,

BUT he is now investigating for me some prices on a gearbox rebuild

Just to see if i want to risk it or not, and get or not get a gearbox rebuild.

So its still going to be a long time before it comes back :!: :( :P

Yeah
The internals of both are unknown though :P

So, its all experimenting and money wasting at the moment

Nuh, Mike i dont need a new mechanic, they are doing everything they can 8)
And it would be too inconvenient to change mechanics now,

I will give them the Wilson's numbermc cause they havent heard of them

I had lots of talks to people

And the Willsons basically said, you have to do the diff up.
If ya do the diff up there is less risk, in risking the gearbox.

But ive had a few quotes on gearbox jobs,
for a few bearings, 300
and for a few shafts and a full build about 1300

So thats all ive got to go on
300-1300 for the gearbox.

Willsons tell me about 800 for a mid range job with the diff and box,

but its just so unknown until, well its too late.

Im keen for something to happen, and it to be ready soon.

I think i may have booked in for drag racing in late january, and id love to take the mini down for it, if its going great by then.
But its a hard choice between the mini, and the commy :?

With the Diff..you want a Compertition Diff Pin and you wont have a trouble with braking it with the additional power you will have

Just rember good things take time..

Do i really want what you wrote??

Anyways?
The box and stuff will be going away soon

and the guys took the block apart, and a few things were in the wrong way, and the rings are the wrong type for the pistons, and a few other things were not were they were meant to be

So that was good,
And my radiator is a throw away job apparently
So i needs a new one.
The end

Buy another mini :D
Say the guy who just spent ummm MUCH dorra on his own 8)

Well, the money i saved on the motor, i can afford on the gearbox, and stuff
Its all good 8)
