Found some old photographs of some of the previous minis I've owned and thought I'd share them just because I've got nothing better to say.
My first mini was a Mustard coloured Deluxe (I think) which I went halves with my sister, $150 each bought at a clearing sale. Sorry no picture.

This was my second mini Turquoise GT. Purchased for $800.

Then purchased this immaculate 76 Clubman off my grandfather in-law for my wifes first car. Only lasted a couple of hours though, on the way to get a roadworthy some idiot didn't giveway and I slammed straight into his HZ holden = unhappy wife

This was the GT after I painted it and replaced the worn out interior with red clubmans. I dont know what I was thinking when choosing the paint colour but it did suit the brown interior! I lost interest in minis and sold this car as it was in this picture for $300!

Some where in between these mini's I had an Red 850 (no pic) with white roof and tartan carpet.

I now have a 72 Clubman. :D

Hope I haven't bored you all, but I was quite excited to find these old photographs hidden away in storage.

Cheers

Your mum's S looks sweet, riding high though, was it on Hydro suspension?
You look like the appropriate size to be driving that mini, hard to believe there's a lot of big blokes driving minis.

WOW!
Good for country driving, maybe I should put some of them cones on mine.
I'm a little worried about the edges on our country roads I reakon there could be some gearbox scraping when I finally get my clubby on the road. :(

Yeah I get the odd funny look getting out of the car. I'm 6 foot and best part of 100kgs. But there's plenty bigger than me getting around in our favourite small car!!

Sump guards are good the rubber cones on my green clubby were a bit low it used to bounce of the sump guard  it took some pretty big bumps(100km/hr) and there is hardly a dint in it. :D heavy though
