From the JAM school - Make yer own! If you are techo enough to fit a flip front, you sure can make a mould and the front end itself.

you could make one even easier by just welding up all the front bits on a clubby and then cutting down the front seam......sorta

Yeah, if you are techo enough you could do that too :D

I subscribe to the Colin Chapman philosophy of performance - it is easier to get rid of 1 lb than to gain 1 hp :!:

Plus i used to work with fibregalss a bit, so i kinda like that idea of a weight reduction method. I can weld a bit too so i am not averse to that either.

Plus i reckon nothing gets done the way you want unless you do it yourself....

mate, just take out the back seat, stereo, headlining, passengers seat, carpet, door trims any speakers and then remove the bumpers and you'll be WAY ahead of where a flipfront will get ya

then while you;re at it change all the glass for perspex and cut weight reducing holes in all the panels and it gets better

Or just use the time and money to get a bigger engine, carby or worked head.

well i have a fibreglass flipfront. and its a round nose, so sue me

but i would have thought if u mold over a current front end ur mould will actually be too big? makes sense to me.. if not anyone else

also i've got the weight reduction of the fibreglass front, and i've got the new donk in the shed, waiting for some work :D
