Dear Ausmini,
I am 21 years old and am in the process of removing Trevor's engine and was wondering where I should undo the bolts from, next to the Diff, or further along on a connecting plate (I've included some photos).
And I got angry with removing the radiator so cut out part of his grill to make it easier. Silly me, something will have to be done later on.
Thanks for reading my letter and keep up the good work guys!
Duc

Dear Duc,

Thanks for your letter.

I believe that you need to undo it on the connecting plate. it is pointed at with the
first arrow (the one furthest away from the diff).

Although taking advice from me on this matter may be a little silly. I would
advise waiting for the likes of someone who has owned a car with Unis. As
i am a pot joint boy...

Regards
C

Dear Chris,
Thanks for your prompt reply.

I am sure if you get off the dope, you will also get straight A's at uni
just like me (although on special occasions its permissable).

Nevertheless, I will trust you and get cracking at them now.
Thanks for your advice and I hope my encouragement helps your addiction
Duc

Yeah you undo the 4 nuts on the plate as said on the plate(hardy spicer units) on the unit arrowed furthest from the diff, then knock the studs out and the drive shafts will fall away, if you don't knock the studs out you will have to crack the bottom ball joint out to get the plates apart

When you go to refit it, the job is much easier if you knock all the 8 studs out of the flanges first. Drop motor in then refit them.:)

lol dont worry cody ill keep cutting, trevor doesnt mind just look at him in his state of serenity

1. how to you knock out the uni joint studs? (crawl under with a hammer?)
2. how do you detach the clutch hose?
3. how do you go about the gear lever (underneath it has two rods about 20cm long and pops up through a hole: not wand nor remote)?

thanks

Not an old Landrover?
(I wanted to lose the windscreen, but it's just a tad illegal) :)
