But somebody here was attempting this feat.

A bloke in adelaide has done it.
He had the rotors turned down to whatever they were to fit under his wheels ( i think)
used morris 1100 calipers.
And drum brake uprights.
Made up mounting plates - no dodgier than your Honda crap let me tell you!
And there it was.
Morrie 1100 brakes on a mini. :D

Pfffft... Hondas will outstop them easy- they are 9.1", and are ventilated too if you grab Accord ones!
BTW the mounting plates are 8mm thick... plenty.
Sorry I don't do them any more though....

- Cono from mini craft here in perth makes a kit that allows the brakes to fit..
- Probably not worth it tho.

Not engineered, and neither are M1100s on a Mini if you succeed in fitting them.

lots of problems surrounding the fittment of morris 1100 disc assys,,,

the upright/swivel hubs won`t work for starters, the ball joints are way too far apart & will leave absolutely no room for suspension travel at all, so different swivel hubs are needed or lift the upper inner control arm mounting point & shorten the strut/Hi-lo assy & raise the tower bump stop part of the subframe. (MAJOR DRAMA)

The disc & caliper are too big to fit under 10" wheels & would need turning down & as the good Doc said, there`s many other brake conversions out there that will work far better

about the only good thing is that you can actually use the disc rotor with the moke/1275LS brakes (if you had to) in that they`re only a tad smaller in diameterthan the moke/1275LS rotor, so they work, but only just & you`ll need to chip away all the over hanging (unused) brake pad material from time to time

just simply not worth the stuff around

YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
