That is real nasty.

Thier is a lot of heat in that one.

Wire wheel it or sand blast it and start again is all I can say. I wonder what it look like B4 it got torched.

I'd be Pissed as

hi all,
thank you all for your kind words.
yes i'm gutted, yes i'm pi$$ed off about it, yes i want to rip somebody's head off, and all the other bad stuff i keep thinking.

i keep telling my self it's only a car, but that car, so so special to me, a 1979 850 Super De. & standard engine, my first car, i did alot of my learning to drive in it, it's taken me 2411 miles (3857Km to you guys) in the 6 months i had her. that's about it for my story with this car, the previous 11 owners will have their own stories i'm sure.

and...to 'IwannaMini'...if i can't have my rims, then no-body can :P
my insurance company are going to recover it 'as is' for an estimator to value the car. so i'm unhappy about that, they're pretty rare rims, so i'm lead to believe. I did say to 'poee' on deviantART.com that i would be keeping them for my next mini, and that i would let people know if i were selling, but that was before i claimed on the insurance.

'sg' - i couldn't agree more.

not alot more to say boys n' girls.
thanks all again :)
