Brad and I have talked about going down again, i'm sure Dean will be in as his car is sure to be ready by then...

Our Licence expires in Feb, so we'll go down one last time to make the most of it...

Any chance of doing a drive day at Oran park or Eastern creek instead?? Alot closer and will work out around the same price in the end.

Brad, a drive day at Oran Park is a good idea.

Plenty of time to organise what is needed.

First of all you need to be a member of a CAMS affiliated club (like NSWMCC or similar)

Then you need to download the 2 LS licence application form the CAMS web page (www.cams.com.au) fill it out and send it in with your $80.00 fee.

Just after Christmas I can call Oran Park and find out when their next 2LS day will be (your new licence will also allow you to do practce days at Eastern Creek but Oran Park I think is the best next step to take).

On the day you need to have a blue triangle on your car where the battery is, a dated fire extinguisher, a helmet, closed in shoes and wrist and ankle length clothing (best thing is to buy yourself a pair of overalls as you will still get plenty of use out of them) DONT wear overalls covered in oil as you will not be allowed to use them for obvious reasons.

The NSW Road Racing Club holds regular meetings at Oran Park for supersprints see www.nswrrc.com and they are also a cams affiliated car club with several mini members, not expensive to join either!

I think it's the southern sporting car club who holds events at eastern creek.

I am in for a friday in February and could possibly get another one along as well.
