Yeah its a frawd pimto and its going into the robin hood clubman with stainless steel extractors and a little watson cam, the dolomite has twin dellorto's as do both Lotus's and lucky for me I have one left on the shelf for the Midas when it arrives(maybe) :D

Just reading a old SU Carbie book(1938) and it states this:
Carburetter Duty.
To carburet means to chemically combine another element with carbon.In the present context the term carburetter defines an apparatus designed to physically mix air and hydrocarbon fuel in metered proportions to ensure ready ignition and complete combustion.
Multi-carburetters(Twin SU) are to be admired and demands from the engine should be supplied by these performance carburetters.
