I ordered and payed for parts from Karcraft last tuesday, 'overnight delivery' :P
They arent here yet, i rang them today and they apologised 8)
Got some things comging from the minisport too,
and the mechanic had looked from a piston, but he can only find a kit, which includes all the rings and stuff, so its not much $'s

and havent heard back from the gearbox place yet, which is a good thing, as they were consult me if it was going to be a big job, so this would suggest it isnt a big job

I got my Karcraft things the other day,
and today i got a radiator the RC-40 shiny thing, and a fwe other shiny bits :P

I took them into mechanics and they said,
tasty,

They were planning to get it finished before christmas,
But the piston kit was not put on the truck from Launceston yesterday, as it was meant to be,
so they wont get here till tomorrow,
So nothing can be done there

The timing chain needed replacing, cause it was too loose,
and have heard nothing back from the gearbox place

Finish date should definately not be more than 2 weeks after the 2 christmas holidays are over,

should be fun :P

Rang up and found out that the 2nd gear synchro on my box was stuffed,
so the guys are going to have a go at pulling the one out of the other box,
but
they are just being real bloody slow,
2 weeks as they said

I think not :!:

Tell them fit a new one, they are only ~$30.
Other one is probably stuffed, too.

you know,
i wouldnt be so sure here,
saved about 200 bucks or some HUGE amount on the radiator,
30 on the clutch
and 10 on the oil pump from buying from the mainland,

Its annoying that the gearbox is at another place
the engine is here
and i just getting sick of throwing bits around to different places :) :P

but the pistons and stuff are here,
oh and there was a star crack or something in the bottom casing
so that needs fixing too
just annoying 8)
always

My old one has too much shaft movement
and they say it will be no good at high speeds.

The engine is taking shape now 8)
looking like something that resembles something that could be put in a car :!:

So i uhhh need someone to sells me a distributor :!: :P
