today me and my brother "ss wannab" got a mini and a front cut.

can anyone tells us what engine sizes and body models they are

front cut, plate tells us

type-YMA252
car no.-1747
engine-9YA/Ta/H/2533


morris shell, plate tells us

type-YMA252
car no.-14737
engine-9YA/Ta/H/15165

any info will help

You'll also find that the YMA252; the 5 is actually an S. :wink:

Tthe 9YA/Ta/H indicates a 998cc in both cases as well

brother just looked and it is YMA2s2

the guy we got the front cut from said it was a 850

It is not YMA252 it is YMA2S2 :wink: (damn, willy beat me to it)

Y = Australia
M = Morris
A = 800cc to 999cc
2S = Body type (2S = 2 door saloon)
2 = Series of model (850=1, Deluxe=2, etc.)

Engine number 9YA/Ta/H/2533

9 = engine size between 900cc and 999cc
Y = Australian assembled
A = Variation of power unit (A= 1st variant)
Ta = Std ratio remote centre change
H = High compression

my brothers deluxe shell has no engine but he is putting in a
77 clubby 998 in it

Car number is 1747 so it's early, my guess would be 1965.

Tell us the car colour listed on the Body plate, that might narrow it down too.

yer it says 1/shadow blue/3
it has wind up windows to if that makes a diffrence
