Im looking at putting my motor back in tomorrow "but" Have just noticed that their is a ball bearing missing where the drive flanges come out next to the diff (in the box not the drive shafts). To get at these I need to take the side plate of and the diff housing, only problem is I dont have a gasket to replace it with and all the shops are shut until tuesday I believe. If you have these gaskets would I possibly be able to take them off your hands and replace next week?

Any help muchly appreciated! :D

Yeah, Kazjim taught me that trick.

Weetbix box + razor + spray on goo = thermostat + the tap thing gaskets.

If you haven't got the gaskets yet, phone me on 0408599619. I am 99% certain I have a complete gasket set for a 1275 in the shed. If the ones you want are interchangable you can replace them later. Only problem is that I am 10 minutes past Brickworx so it's a bit of a drive from your place. Good news is that you can bring the extractors I won on Ebay and I can pay you for them and you can bring the other stuff so I can have a look and see whether they are worth the slabs of coke or not :o)

couldnt you just buy some gasket paper? and then make your own... :?

all you need is a roundnose hammer and a sheet of gasket paper
check your local hardware store.

or just use willy's method same thing really :)

I think I will wait until a mini place opens. Dont want to have to pull it apart again on account of a couple of gaskets. Should still be able to have it running by tuesday, then back to kaniva, and register it the following week when Im back in adelaide. :D
