Came across this one in my travels only last night. Pretty comprehensive picture gallery of a huge selection of wheels attached to minis from across the world.

Never seen these except on my car ! So they are a bit different, but not very 90's.

They were on it when i bought it - the guy owned it for 40 years, so they are "period". just pick which decade!!!

Here it is on the car. Sorry about the angle, i don't have a better one yet.

Those Teddy alloys were a short-lived option for teh New Beetle when it came out. They don't fit a Mini.

Too ugly to fit to a Mini anyway! 8)

hi there, i had a set of mamba rims on my mini, berfore it got torched :( then just after it got torched, the rims were nicked, some yob will have sold them in a pub now for £20 not knowing they're pretty hard to come by, buggers.
they were very nice wheels, wide too, gave nice grip.
very nice if you can get some.

Currently having a custom set of 13x7.5 three piece built. Not much change out of 2.5k thou. If you want I can put you in touch with the guy who is making them. I had to use centres originally designed for race cars such as formula Ford etc about 30 years ago. I already checked he doesnt do 10's tho, and getting him to make 13's took some begging, pleading and down right grovelling.

10 inch all the way lads! After the all british day a few weeks back were there were a huge bunch of performance minis, all had 10 inch wheels and looked fantastic. I am hooked on the 10's and don't think I'll ever move away from 10's. I now have collected 7 LS Contessas and 1 regular mini offset contessa and won't be looking back.

If you look carefully all the racing minis run 10's, everything from UK racers to Targa Tasmania minis, I think it's because take off is better on 10's? I'm not sure if there is any handling increase with larger wheels at all, maybe it's even worse? ... Personally I think 10's look best on a mini, performance aside...
