I'm going to have to agree with some of the others that 13x6 Sport Packs are the sexiest. Especially if they are powdercoated white. Anything smaller than 13's won't fit over my brakes either.

I'm more interested in go than pose, so my vote will always go to 10s.

Mini car, Mini wheels - what a revolution they were when they first appeared.

10 x 7 inch chromed spun Cooper S steel wheels will look good on any Mini and you can throw it round corners likea go-cart.

Turbo Orangie - Great car, love the numberplates. I'd guess that your problem is with yahoo having "?" in the URL.

Back to the debate, here's a pick of my 12s.

Thanks for the positive comments on my ride. TurboOrangie appreciates it. And those 12" steelies are by far the best looking steelies I've ever seen. I appreciate the old 10" wheels but they didn't really help my car with "go". Traction was a major issue, the bigger contact patch helps greatly with traction with the bigger wheels. And I have room for brakes which are greatly needed with the extra power. I haven't driven a stock Mini with 13's but the lighter engine in my car (120lbs engine/gearbox without alternator on) it handle better with the 13's than it did with the 10s.
But I'll also add that I am sure that when I had the stock 1000 and the 10s it handled better than my girlfriends Mini 1000 with 12s. She doesn't have great tires either.

Just for fun I thought I show you that I can do steelies too.

That looks sic just the way it is. You switched to 10's? You better put a pic of it with the 10's on it now, because I'd throw the 13's right back on if that was mine.
