Thanks. I should really finish putting it together, I've never driven it. I bought it as a rusty shell and started just welding in new panels. Then once I realized really how easy it is to do custom stuff I just got carried away. I planned to have it finished before I went away to school a few years ago but I wasn't done in time. And I lent my Orange Mini to my girlfirend to drive while I was away and she started having some carburator problems. I figured it would be better for her if it was fuel injected. And if I'm going to go fuel injected why not go with something turboed, intercooled and with a 5 speed box. And if I need to wiring in the fuel injected engine why not rewire the whole car and eliminate all the Lucas wiring. So I would work on the project every few months when I'd come home for a couple weeks. Needless to say I am still a little side tracked with the fast Mini over the custom blue one. And to top it all off my girlfriend bought herself a 1988 Rover Mini before I was finished the conversion for her. Oh well, now that I'm home I will want to drive the turbo Mini myself once I'm finished. I'd like to have both of my Minis together for the car shows this summer.
