I don't know if it was the same person, it could have been anybody. Apparantly they did some major damage on EBay ( bidding and selling ) and they are taking it really seriously. It's under investigation so I think it's more likely professionals. A lot more is required than just changing my password. I had heaps of requests from oversea's buyers asking for my bank details so they can deposit money into, luckily there was no chance of me giving them that.

True dat. Well if you value your online security any. And who doesn't ebank, ebay, epaybills, e-all-sorts-of-things-with-money these days.

It doesn't even necessarily have to be about Mac OSX being better. You are just making yourself a smaller target due to the ~4% Mac market share.

But lets face it, the premium on Apple hardware is usually enough to keep most away. But if you end up getting ripped-off online because of windoze, or keep spending money on anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware, and profession help, then it is false economy.

Having said all that, I'm not a Mac junky. More like anti-windoze. MacOSX just happends to be the only viable consumer alternative thanks the MS monopoly strangle hold.

He does like to show of his cars pity he will have fewer and fewer people to share them with.

It will be interesting. Maybe a mass public non violent shunning by large group of mini owners may force him back to the UK and behind the burger king counter.

What a twit, such a pity as I'm sure their was or is a nice person under all his little issues.

Responsibilities for ones actions and a private apology might start building bridges but I doubt his ready for that.

I recieced an email from a guy who said he had seen my ad on Ausmini originally and knew my circumstances we're genuine. He also told me how he couldn't stand the people on there and WAS NOT A FAN.

He wanted me to withdraw the LS from auction so he could purchase it now. I didn't want to, so I told him the car would stay on EBay as one of the bidders was from Ausmini.

I started recieving all these auction bids from EBay U.K and Germany. EBay closed down my auctions because a third person had hacked into my account. I also had my car advertised on oversea's websites.

The person should soon have the police knocking at the door, if EBay messages were an indication.

Funny how his name was Scotty, not Scott, But Scotty.
