Hey every-one, this is the little Leyland I was talking about. It's been sitting in the same spot for 5years. The owner was using it as a daily driver a number of years ago. Unfortunately the car has been left out in all weather conditions. Sitting under trees hasn't helped out either. The car did look quite smart in it's former glory

Always a shame to see any car just deteriorate through lack of car, but from the pics it doesn't look too bad. The roof gutters look a little sad and they're a bit of a pain to fix. As long as the sills aren't too bad, it could be a reasonable project for someone. The seams above the bumper and the side seams look pretty good, from the pics.

The other aspect is that if the owner lets it go now, it may provide a lot of spare parts (including some pretty good panels) to keep another mini on the road. For instance, I need some of those doors...

It is a shame to see any car go like that. I couldn't get any other pics cause of the fence and the large dog. My old man asked if he wanted to sell it a couple of months ago, the owners response (as you can guess) was no as he was going to "do something with it"

We asked him about 3months ago, said he didn't wanna sell it. What a waste. Have to enquire again.

Dam shame that I dont like seeing Mini's go this way..

Maybe you should ask the owner again if they want to sell it and wave some money around in front of him. Maybe then he might change his mind and also mentioned it is really going to waste just sitting outside in the weather and if it continues to stay like that it wont be worth much at all.
