hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy a mini van!! the van i am looking at is a round nose from the 60's ( not sure exact year) it has had no modifications, engine is running and in good nik, interior is in ok condition, it is unregd, minor surface rust, body is pretty close to straight. this is all the info i have, i am going to see it tomorrow. the man is looking at around $4000 does this sound about right?
any help would be great!!!!!

pricey.... very pricey - sounds like $1500 absolute tops to me

I've got a tidy, rust free, registered panel van with schmick cooper s mechanicals that I drive every day. My wife wants me to sell it, but I don't want to - if and when I decide to sell it I'll be looking at about $5500

if theres any rust at all then i'd say $4000 is too much
'without seeing its pretty hard for any of us here to give and accurate valuation...but from what you've said id would personally not wanna pay anymore than about $2500-$3000

It doesn't happen to be in a Brookvale dealer, does it?

Sounds a bit pricey to me.

$2,000-3,000 max would be my suggestion.

dealers ALWAYS ask too much for minis....theres a few in adelaide and they're asking at least $2000-$3000 too much for them

If no one else says it, I will. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE!!!!

I have seen far too many people get screwed by that place. But......they normally want $10k +.....so $4k is cheap for them!!

Sold them some stuff on eBay once. Seemed okay.

Other than that never had anything to do with them, but heard a few bad rumours...
