Ah , see, that`s where a stroker motor comes in handy, :-) No matter what the revs, just plant the foot & theres allways grunt to pull you out , more pull than a bunch of school boys at a porn flick :-)

sorry to hear Cush, maybe some rally tyres & a little less oversteer might help next time hey? :-)

at least cushy did it all on his own and did not need help from a wayward car pushing it off the road :)

alright.. i'll fess up.... the mini is fine... well.... as fine as it was yesterday...

well... i did fit new bushes to the upper engine steady..... :)

but i'll stand by the honesty of what i've typed...

Quote:
that is the outside of a right hander which zings back leading into that left hander.

the geography is true...

Quote:
i was going side ways, but i was sideways going in to the right hander (fully sick rally stylez  )

i, in fact, was going sideways.....

Quote:
i was in the wrong gear and didn't have the revs to get the car moving forward...i brake and i suddenly find out how much new gravel has just been laid down in resurfacing the road...... crap loads.....

'tis true... lots of gravel.....lots of braking..

Quote:
the wheels stop, the engine stalls, and i'm along for the ride...

yep... still true..

Quote:
paddy hopkirk, i aint...

i'm not, you know...

Quote:
the light are from the crv...

quite true....

Quote:
the photo was taken after the "incident"

still true.... (i didn't say how long after)

Quote:
lets just say that the has a few bits of bent metal and the steering is a "bit" lop-sided.. and there may be a couple of cracked-ish rims...

Still true... just a little creative... i do have bent bits of metal... (bumpers, control arm) the steering is a bit lop-sided (i need a wheel alignment... and i have a couple of cracked rims.....(they're at brickworx... waiting to be-welded)

so .. you see... it's not entirely my fault that you guys thought i'd crashed the mini... :P

oh... btw.. it wasn't the mini at all....

it was the crv... ;)

but it was ****ing close, i tell you....

that's right.... i am...the "Super Fun Happy Group A CRV Rally Driver, San"

HAI! ARIGATO!!
