165 tires fit.
7's too wide, no real benefit for ROAD USE.
Plus tires are farken hard to get (and expensive).

would there be any probs with clearance and Inner guard rubbing or loss of turning circle?

No its not usually the width as such with the small wheels, but the diameter of the big wide wheels (13x6 upwards)

The offset of a 10x6 can often be the same as a 10x7.

sixes are sexy should be able to fit without any mods might feel a little heavy on the steering though

Not a dig at anyone in particular, just sick of seeing people using VERY BAD GRAMMAR.

Even a 10x6 wheel is stretching a 165/70-10 tyre- the recommended max for them is 5.5".
7s really are for slicks etc.

i had 10x6 on my car befor, but have recently changed to 10x5 rims , i havent noticed any difference in grip handling

So What is the avaliblity Of Tyres for 10" by 7" rims what brands cant you get them in? what are the prices Like?

Basically there aren't any. The only road tryes are 145/80s or 165/70s. 165s go best on 5 to 5.5 inch wheels. 6 inch wheels tramline more (IMHO). The only 10x7s you 'll find are widened steelies and these will be heavy and make the handling even worse.

You can buy 205x10s (not sure of the profile) but these are intended for golf carts or maybe trailers and as such are not rated (or recommended) for your road going Mini (besides being illegal).

You may be able to find some wide treaded slicks but these will be illegal on the highway as well.

If this thread is in relation to the wheels for sale on ebay, then I have messaged the seller asking about the availability of spare tyres.

The answer was that they can import them for me at a cost of $690 for four.

I am not interested in the wheels at all. I just wanted to know where you can get tyres that big.

so Would you Guys Think that 165/70s would have a Fairly good Avaliblity? do u think someone like tyre power or bobjane Should be able to source some somewhere?

10x7 is a fairly extreme width for a 10 inch ROAD rim, but they ARE available (mostly from overseas)
