Mini swap meets are few and far between.
Then when they do have them it seems that people are selling crap anyway. Stuff that I wouldn't bother carting to a swap meet to sell. The last one I went too was as a buyer and it was a waste of fuel, less than ten stalls.
I guess people like to hoard all of the good stuff and then when you want to buy off them they charge an arm and a leg.

last one i went to was at tambourine...thats where that supercharged clubby was for sale (see for sale section) was a whole day just to have a look around it was so big... i came home with , among other things, a wood steeringwheel with mini boss for $10 or 15 cant recall exactly... a complete but rough genuine wood dash including all hardware..2 gasket sets, 850 door kickplates, a stack of old mini magazines.. miscelanious bits and pieces etc and was only $60 lighter for a fun day out. was a set of contessa mags n tyres going cheap too but i didnt need them......
mini swap meet at carindale wasnt to bad either.. saw a few ausmini peeps heading home with bargains.

Toowoomba swap meet (3-4-5th Feb) is always worth a look, although it has been heading down the "80's Ford and Holden" path - ugh :?

Ormiston swap (mid April) has been getting bigger and bigger, and attracts the Morris Minor set, so there might be some crossover parts there.

There is an all British swap, Usually a small affair in July at Carindale (watch for ad in Courier Mail Collector cars classified)

tamborine swapmeet was at the village inland not the mountain..it was an all breeds swap i think it might have been an american car club organising it...i just got lucky to find 3 mini vendors at one meet..

My parents are members of the Restoration Club (based in Cleveland) a few of their members have morris minors / mini's / MG's at the Ormiston swap meet. The miniownersclub are normally at the Carindale swap meet, like last yr held just near the bus depo.
