My inlaws have a Lake Green / White S and the original trim is a light green colour.

Do you know the trim colour code thats on your inlaws?? Should be on the compliance plate. Some people say green, some people say fawn.

From September 1969, with Almond Green and Old English White lid, the poms utilised Dove Grey / Porcelain Green seats, Porcelain Green seat piping, Dove Grey Liners, Pale Cream headlining, natural rubber door seals and Grey or Cumulus Grey carpeting. According to Lindsay Porter's Mini Restoration Manual.

No compliance plate...only an ID plate that states Body #, Engine # and Exterior colour.

Has anyone got any photos of Light green interior

If it's a 67 S it should have the first style upholstery. It's the same style as 997, 998 Coopers and Mini Deluxe. Door trims etc are the same as the Mini Deluxe of the same vintage.
2nd type upholstery dates from early 68. Not sure of exact change date but around the same time as the wiper panel was changed to suit the OZ Lucas parts.

Hmm it would be interesting to find out the date when it DID change . My 67 S has the 2nd type of upholstery , and so does my mates 67 S and 68 S , all 3 cars are very very original

I've Emailed Craig Watson from Mini Experience to perhaps do a feature with the years correct colours and correct interior colours and designs, It would help us Mini people trying to put our cars back the correct way

AJ I know you said Fawn, but surely there was a choice of interior colours like Minis today. I have seen a few cars in fawn but not that many, Plus my Mums Clubman used to be brown with the piping, but it was stuff so I ditched it :( If only I saw the future
