Thanks-Done that,also pre drilled the thermostat.
The bores a just to thin too dissipate the heat.I'm think the extra cooling capacity will fix this 8)

my hottie motor was running hot, turned out it was blowing between cylinders, not alot but enough..

my gf's 1310 runs hotish but i think its got a 81 degree thermostat

LS - Have you considered a thermo fan for the traffic heating? If your colling system is up to it whilst moving, then I would imagine its an air flow (or lack there of) issue.

I've seen an LS1275 with this mod to help with city driving, and it certainly works for my car (driven with A/C in the city on a 45 degree day). :wink:

Thanks Ben for advice..I'll try the extra cooling capacity idea first(less modification).
I am sure with heater on and extra heater core,that the City driving should resolve itself...

dammmn tidy looking engine bay curly id be Proud to Lift the Bonnet If ever asked. is there Much purpose in using a over flow bottle Instead of a Line Straight out to the Ground? apart from Having to Top up the radiator every few days if Driven frequently.
