thanx for all the info, we pick it up this arvo paid $1200 for it, it has the lift up door handles & is sweet, were just checking the brakes & motor now, check her for rego. the last rego was 1980 & has the first rego label still on the window the mini k sticker is hardly faded, needs a good polish & a bit of TLC. its YG2S1 7/70 would that be "morris" or "leyland" ??? it says on the compliance Brittish Leyland Motors

Chassis code is very similar to mine.........also a Mini K with lift up door handles. Mines a late 71 model from memory, cant be really sure. Ill take a look at my plate and see what it says :P

very well done indeed - lift up door handles is a real bonus - legend has it that there were about 300 Mini K's with lift up door handles built. Don't be tempted to customise it too much!

Does that mean i really should turn mine into a 1275 with a turbo hanging off the side

now i know why sk dont have a location in his profile
jackass he is picking on poor defencles clubby's and you would be better of taking the front of a roundie and replaceing it with a clubby front so you can at least do a decent conversion

you know what I find wierd.... there are a couple of guys flaming me for bagging clubmans, when what do they have as an avatar? why a roundnose!

I updated my location... want the address? I doubt if your clubmans would make it to where I live - too much wind resistance with that fat-ass grille

Hi motogalgirl,

What colour are the original Mini K 1100 decals on your new car :?: I bought some reproductionsfrom the guys at Padstow and they are Purple, White and Silver which look a little strange on with my Green and White paint scheme. I was told they were the same as the originals
