when i bought spaceboys old clubby the handbrake didnt work!

how can i fix this ?? i doont think the cables are broken

you will have to check it out. Where are the nuts to on the cable at the hand brake. check the quadrets if the are moving and also the mech at the rear brakes

Yeah How is The Actual handbrake attached to the floor pan cause i ripped mine Off The floor a while back when i found ou the Starter solenoid was Stuffed. Yeah i broke it off the floor.

had a look this mornin, cables r intact and not broken, just quite slack.

with the wheel off, i can pull on the cable and lock the rear wheel.

how can i adjust the handbrajke tension??

If you can pull the cable by hand and lock the brakes when jacked up then just tighten the cables a bit at the rear of the handbrake lever , you'll see a nut on a LOOONG threaded rod that's attached to the cable , just tighten the nuts a few turns and try again , a few more turns and try again etc . Best to adjust the brakes a bit at the back wheel as well BEFORE you adjust the cable , just to get things working as well as they can .
