I found this article in a Tassie Travel/Holidays guide, about the Rent a mini.
Ryans Minicar Rentals, Tour Tassie in a Mini, from $27.50 a day, Incl insurance & unlimited kms.
In Launceston and Poatina, Have the time of your life in a charming, reliable & economical Mini Clubman.

Fusion Australia, 22 Wellington Street, Launny,
03 6344 3600 or 03 6397 8280.

And on the add there are three white clubmen, a yellow, and i think and Orange Van?

So that was interesting. Remember this for your holidays, Or Bring your own mini

$27 for a full day to go nuts with the old tool kit?

Cheap parts. Sounds worth it.

I had a mate that rented a car so that he could swap the rear axle/diff.
The one he rented had the right ratio and a LSD.
