Hey guys, i am in a crap of a spot. The respray of Leila 74Clubby) is going to begin
next weekend and i am buying the piant on tuesday. and i really need to decide on colour.

Below are the three choiices that i am going for.
surf blue
balze yellow
beige colour.

All the colours will have black highlights (be it GT stripes or roof or flares...) and a black interior. The whole car is just going for a stocko/slightly period modified look.

I really like surf blue, but i thkn that the yellow would look good also, and the begie is the original colour i was going to do it. Any opinons or comments are great! thantks guys
(btw its gonna be a daily driver)

Given the choice if it was my car I'd go the beige, it's less common a colour on minis.

What colour beige is that?
I'm thinking about doing my 65 850 in El Paso beige with black roof and flares.

Surf Blue had a similar colour used on the early minis as well called Shadow Blue.

It had a creamier sort of texture which looked like someone had poured a baby blue milkshake all over your car.

Still these blue colours might suit the earlier cars as it really was a colour of the sixties.

Hmm..color choices are always tough...
If going with black roof etc I would pick beige.
IMO surf blue would go better with white or silver roof.

but yeah, for a clubby with black interior, i'd probably go the yellow all over, with two off-centred black GT stripes running along the bonnet/roof/rear.

yeah i was thinking the same thing about the blue that it may be for more
of a early car.

I was likeing the yellow as i reckon it qwould look tough and ihgave
not seen a clubby like that befopre, and yup Darren i was gonna do it
with black GT Stripes and AMYEBE a black rook but i am still undecided on that
(leaning towards no) then just have the yellow, black GT stripes and Black interior...

i like beige, but i think beige and white stripes would be more of a goer. and i don't really like the beige on that clubby. much prefer a creamier beige .. if that makes sense. maybe almost even a grey.

i sprayed a mini up years ago close to that yellow( similar to the HSV GTS-R at the time)
Had black flairs , black roof, cooper stripes on the bonnet then GT stripes down the back. Painted deep dish stockies black with the same colour yellow rim on it. Have'nt got any photos of it but :(
