I just laid my eye on a pic of the introduction of this movie back in february 2005 in Adelaide. A yellow mini pick-up was used for the promotion, wich appears to be convenient as there's a yellow mini (pick-up ?) in the movie too. As this movie is unknown in Europe I was wondering being a pick-up fan, if it's worth tracing down, I mean, does anyone know if there's a pick-up in that movie for some time or is it hardly noticeable and gone in a split second ?

That seems to be it. Any info on that and/or on it's appearance in the movie ?

I don't know about the Mini in the trailer or the film (as I haven't seen either) but...

The yellow pickup used at the premier of the film in Adelaide is owned by Ken Wenham.
We did a full feature of this car back in Issue 3 of The Mini Experience. And yes it does have an engine...if it didn't Ken must have been doing a super Flintstones job for the driving shots! lol.

We also had a brief news piece of the film premier in the clubs section of Issue 4, including a pic of Spike's brother Des with Ken's pickup.

Cheers, Watto.
