In the excitment of finishing preparing the doors I got carried away with the fibreglass fixing a few small dents.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this beautifully painted door ?

Won't be too hard to fix. Just start with a small hole from the other side. It will be covered by the hinge either way.

Pisser wasn't a word i used. If i had a swear jar there would be enough money in there for a good night out !

My avatar sure does describe it all - mind you this is the first f@#k up i have had since starting the project....

I was able to easily fix the door using a small drill bit and drilling on the paint side of the door with no cracks what so eva. The holes have now been painted over with red and the door happily drying in the sunshine ready for compound & buffing in 3 weeks.

I sure do, here are two photos. Since these have been taken I have painted the undercarriage, engine bay and boot black as well as red in all the usual interior places.

I will post update photos after the car has been buffed and polished...
