Well it is finally painted and came up really nice. Putting it back together this week and then of to get rego. I cant wait to get out there again in the mini, its been nearly 6 years since i last drove her :(

Shes now got a bit more power than last time (200hp) and alot better brakes (metro turbo) and also alot more comfy with the race seats and toyota dash.

Sounds (and looks) like it's going to be a pocket rocket! you'll have to post pics when it's all done!

Car looks great. I like what you've done to the inside.

I've seen the odd charade dash crammed in, What's your dash out of?

thanks alot everyone, hopefully the next update will include a little video of it tearing up the streets :D

Doors will go in tomorrow hopefully, got everything else done today. Handling will be ok ive got the front shocks set pretty stiff and the rears on medium setting, plus rear sway bar, may need to fit negative camber brakets to rear tho.

Dash is from the halfcut i got with the engine 1994 toyota starlet GT, little bit of cutting and a few new brackets was all it took, made wiring alot easier :)

As for drivability its seems to be perfect, i have only taken it to 5000rpm in first and second, no torque steer yet only running 6psi, we will see how it is when it gets cranked up to 15-17psi and 220+ horses.

Man, I gotta admire your persistence in getting that dash to fit. I'm having a nightmare just attempting a flat dash out of MDF. My bro in law is tackling that on his own, since I'm totally useless at woodwork.

Congrat's on yer project, lookin absolutely superb.
