when i put my car in for a full bare metal respray, they patched up the holes for the indicators, badges etc... I WAS NOT HAPPY.

but i can see how you did it, getting carried away in the moment.

Congrats on the rest of the car. :D

looks good mate, big engine plans??

where in adelaide are you?

Thanks.
Not sure what to do with the motor yet. Probably rebuild what I have got.
I have a half decent 998, two sets of twin SU's (one set of a 998 and the other of 1100) plus a brand new HS6 & manifold.

I am located at Salisbury. I noticed you have a hot bricks avatar....
Do you belong to the car club? When and where do they meet ?

Tim

Thats an awesome little device you have there holding it up on wheels. Does that just attach to the subframe mounting points. I want one

Pat

The mini is supported by 4 heavy duty wheels that swivel (got for $5 at a swap meet) attached to some angle plate.
I then attached four car stands i purchased from supa cheap to the angle plate, attached the whole lot to where the subframe mounts are, used some bracking to hold it all in place and attached this between the angle bracket and subframe mounts
.....and presto a rolling mini shell to work on...
As a bonus (and by pure luck) the whole contraption is perfectly balanced that I can tip the mini on its side and it will sit there resting on the side of the brackets enabling me to work on the under carriage..

The picture below says it all..

Thanks for the great comments !

The car is turning out well.
The paint job is not as perfect as the panel shops and there are a few minor imperfections however it will still make for a really tidy and nice looking car.

I will add update photo once the car has been compounded and buffed (booked in for 4th March) to show you all the finished results.
