C'mon Cush... yea It might be funney to those who know every number back to front, but this guy is a newbie asking for help...

He could take your informaion, look at a "cooper "S"" - see the engine number you provided and hand over 10 big ones for something misrepresented...

Not cool ....

How many CLubbies do we see advertised on Ebay as 1974 Cooper "S" ?

Just a gentle reminder... we're not all walking Mini encyclopaedias ....

Who really know's what could be in it without checking the number with all the info , seriously it could be anything from an early 850 to an A+1275 so don't go trying to confuse the new guy with hair splitting arguments . Just rememebr the basic's we've outlined here and confirm it with us after you've seen it by posting the engine number prefix .

Anyone know what motor a 9ye etc etc would come from?.

Cheers!

Cheers Crimson,
Know I know I need to update the details at the rego center. Obviously hasn't been updated for many many years.
Might do that after I fit the extractors, weber and Disk Brakes =)

Cheers again!
