just wondering how much a 998 leyland S motor is worth?? IT is fully reconditioned and runs, incl. sub frame?? Complete. Thanks

If you have all the receipt for the work and proof of it being all new maybe $1000-1500 to the right person, on Ausmini $50 and you deliver it and fit it :lol:

on a more sreious note , did you have it rebuilt yourself or did you buy it rebuilt ? Does it have receipts to show it's been rebuilt and how much use has it had since ? If you can prove what was spent on it and how little use it's had I'd say go for something a bit below the rebuild costs (60% of rebuild costs) . If you only have the word of the previous owner then it's probably worth the $50 mentioned earlier as it's an unknown quantity . This is still only a guesstimate though .

yeh the previous owner, hasnt done anything since reco. do you recon $300 is a rip - in all seriousness - not selling it on here dont worry - i know your all stingy bastards - but i dont blame you so am i.. lol

sounds good to me

its really expensive to rebuild an engine, it cost me $800 to rebuild my gearbox at mates rates..
